I Have Personalized a Psalm(Song)

I dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High God

I abide under the shadow of the Almighty

I say of the Lord God, 

You are my refuge and my fortress, 

my God, in You, I will trust.

Surely you will deliver me 

from the snare of the fowler

(from the secret traps set by deception and schemers)

And from the noisesome pestilence(fatal diseases and
dreadful sicknesses).

God will cover me with His feathers 

and under His wings;

I will trust (be safe),

His truth will be my Shield and my Buckler (my armor).

I will not be afraid of the terror by night; neither by the arrows 

(the weapons formed against me)

that fly during the day.

Not for the pestilence (fatal diseases that walk in darkness)

and moreover, not even the destruction

that can waste you away during the noonday.

A thousand may well fall at my side and ten thousand near my right hand;

but it will not come upon me.

Only with my eyes will I behold and see the rewards of the wicked.

Because, I have placed(chosen) the Lord God who is my

refuge (my safe dwelling place) even the 

Most High, my habitation(my safe place);

there shall no evil fall upon me, 

Neither, will any plaque (fatal sickness or dreadful disease)

come near me or my dwelling place. 

For God will give His Angels charge over me, to keep me in 

all my ways.

His Angels will bear(hold) me up in their hands 

to avoid that I would dash my foot against a stone.

I will tread (walk-on, step-on) upon the lion

and the adder(the snake).

Yes, the young lion and the dragon will I trample under my feet.

Because, I have set(placed) my love upon God;

He will deliver me:

He will set me on High, because I have known Him 

in Spirit and in Truth. 

I will call upon God and He will answer me.

He will be with me in the time of trouble. God will deliver

and honor me, with long life, He will satisfy me, 

 And He will shew(give to me)

His salvation.
